Lucy

My name written in my Fuckabet lettering.

Prints

The Big Issue lady by my tube station.

A print of my constant battle with the wind and my hat.

Print of a house on my road.

Print of the dog always peeking through the blinds on my walk to the tube every morning on my way to University(I say morning I am terrible at managing my time so generally late morning).

Print inspired by an old photo of my Nana taken by my Grandpa(My Grandpa loves photography....and has the best family photo albums i have ever seen).

Print taken again from my Grandfathers photo album. The picture was of my Nana holding up a black mamba snake she shot in the back garden of their property in South Africa.

Wallpaper design University Project

This is based on a mini me running around dancing and playing in the English countryside. And yes I am naked and no my bush is not that big....thought it was better than an explicit sketch....think of it as a furry sensor. The finished image will be printed as wallpaper.
This image above was the image I brought in for the identity project. I guess it's suggests some mental health problems. Unitentionally.

Lettering

The first rough sketches for my Fuckabet lettering.

My second attempt. I then moved back to black on white. And I have just realised I missed the Z when i scanned this. Whoops. Will sort that after new year.

Lettering made up from my dreamt up star constellations.

Lettering designed as though made from paper.

Lettering designed as though made from glass.

Lettering made up of trannies carrying block letters.

Fill in the gaps with your eyes.

Playing with line work.

Soho Poster

I started with the little hut in the middle of Soho square as it is memorable and right smack in the middle of Soho square, the heart of Soho Pride. I then used balloons to introduce the first bit of color as i wanted the surrounding Soho parts to remain black and white as with any carnival the color and fun is brought by the carnival, decorations and people not the location.

My first character a trannie on stilts with heels on the bottom.

Bold trannie with rainbow dress.

More detail and carnival vibes.

Fat man and trannie.

Another random inappropriately dressed man and a man dropping his sunglasses and his bum showing.

Gay male couple with their child and back view of Queen trannie.

Tree top for Soho Square. Once again not colored.

Lettering I designed with a stencil I cut out and a dark blue ink splatter.

A combination of the lettering and the characters. First poster idea.

I then realised that I liked the first character a lot and tried this layout as a second attempt.

And then went for even more simple. This I chose as my final idea.
